CRAIG OKONSKI, DPM
Dr. Okonski was raised in Southeast Michigan. He graduated from Oakland University and then attended the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine obtaining his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. His residency program was at Hutzel Hospital with rotations through several hospitals at Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Okonski is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He started a private practice in southwest Michigan in 1985. He is married to Cherie (Voss) and they have 2 wonderful sons, Daniel and Ryan. His interests involve spending time with family, traveling and golfing. He is also an avid reader.
DAVID HALSTEAD, DPM
Dr. Halstead is a native of Michigan. He received his undergraduate education at Michigan State University. His podiatric education was received at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He performed his podiatric surgical residency at Madison Community Hospital for Specialty Surgery in the Detroit area. Dr. Halstead is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He has been in private practice in Southwest Michigan since 1998. Dr. Halstead is married to Dina and they have 2 sons. His interests include spending time with his family and friends, watching the boys in their sports, exercise, and travel.
PAMELA SCOTT
Pam has been involved with podiatry over 40 years and is our Office Manager. She has worked in this office for 29 years and is a Podiatric Medical Assistant Certified (PMAC). Aside from her management and organization duties, she also does patient care and monitors and sets up the surgical schedule. She commutes from Kalamazoo where she lives with her husband Brad. Pam enjoys socializing and entertaining and anything connected with food! She is very involved with Kalamazoo Community Church. She thinks she has the best “bosses in the business”.
RANEE HOOVER
Ranee came to work in our office in 2006, after first being one of our patients. She works preparing patients for the doctors and/or procedures and entering computer information. She also orders the majority of supplies for the office and multitasks
well. She is married to Bruce and has 4 children and 12 grandchildren. Babysitting is one of her priorities, but she also occasionally loves to relax with a favorite beverage or “hit” the bowling alley. She loves the people she works with!!!
BRIANNA ROSE
Brianna joined our team in 2012. She sees patients the majority of the time, and also does the diabetic shoes. She also monitors and schedules the surgeries for the doctors. She filles in when needed to help with x-rays and surgical procedures. Brianna has 3 young children and enjoys taking them on new adventures, being outside, or attending sporting events.
PATTIE ALLRED
Pattie works as a front desk receptionist, checking patients out, making appointments and does much of the phone work. She also does a portion of our account tracking. She has worked for us for 4 years and is always willing to take on the many extra projects that become available and is very tenacious. She loves to decorate our office for the holidays. The study of her genealogy is one of her avid hobbies and she is very involved with her church. She is married and has a high school aged daughter who is active in sports.
RAY MOORE
Ray came to work in our office in April 2024 as one of our biller/coders and has over 30+ years of experience. He and his wife Kim have 6 children and 2 grandchildren. He is an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. Ray also enjoys collecting sports cards.
KADEY PRESCOTT
Kadey came to work for us in 2023 as our front desk receptionist but then quickly transitioned to preparing patients for the doctors and/or procedures. She also works alongside Ranee entering computer information. She was born and raised in Southwest Michigan where she now is raising her two kids with her husband Kyle. You can finder he most days at the baseball field watching her son play or relaxing with a good book.
PENNY SPROUTS
Penny came to work for us in August of 2023. She is a Saint Joseph native graduating from Western Michigan with a Bachelors in Elementary Math and Science. She has been married to her husband Morty for 31 years and raised 3 children and one son-in-law. Penny loves to ride roller coasters, bake, attend football games, and his a huge Elvis fan. In her free time her yellow lab named Palmer keeps her busy.
